'From Birth to Death'

Hospitals - where we fear to be in but would prefer to be close to - are places where a hectic uneasiness is calmed down by a doctor's compassionate attitude or a nurse's warm attention. They are places of sorrowful waiting, sometimes leading to grief, sometimes to joy.

'From Birth to Death' (photographed in Istanbul, Turkey) goes through the motions of life, starting with the birth of a baby, all the way through the pains and struggles of aging, and eventually the despair of death.
